The new drama "The WONDERfools”is now clearer, with the release of an exclusive teaser and confirmation of its broadcast date.

Set in 1999, at a time marked by apocalyptic theories, this series combines action, comedy and superpowers. It follows a group of misfits whose daily lives are turned upside down when they suddenly develop extraordinary abilities.

In front of them, threats disrupt the tranquility of the town of Haeseong, pushing them to act despite their lack of experience.

A team of misfits with unexpected powers

The unveiled poster features the band members observing their surroundings from behind a vending machine, while objects float around them, suggesting the emergence of their powers. In the center, Eun Chae-ni (Park Eun-bin) flashes a bright smile, contrasting with the focused attention of Lee Woon-jung (Cha Eun-woo).

Around them, reactions vary: Son Kyung-hoon (Choi Dae-hoon) seems surprised, while Kang Robin (Im Seong-jae) appears more worried about this unusual situation. Together, they set the tone for a chaotic yet humorous adventure.

The teaser accompanies this first presentation, gradually introducing the characters and their abilities. In a still hesitant atmosphere, a voice asks: “I think there's something wrong with us. Maybe someone sprayed a pesticide in the neighborhood.”

As everyone begins to experiment with their new powers, Eun Chae-ni provides a form of lucidity by declaring, “Other people would call these superpowers.”

The drama will be available on Netflix on May 15, much to the relief of fans who were worried that the drama would be delayed because of the «scandal» surrounding it. Cha Eun-woo in recent weeks.
