The upcoming romantic drama « One of a Kind Romance »continues to unveil itself ahead of its scheduled release later this year on TVING. The production has just released a new poster featuring the complicity between Joy (Red Velvet) and Kim Hyun-jin, the 2 stars of the drama.
Adapted from a webtoon, the series will tell the story of 2 people whom everything seems to oppose, but whom fate will bring together in an unexpected way.
A job seeker meets a celebrity
Joy plays Gong Yu-il, an ordinary young woman looking for a job. Her life is turned upside down when she becomes the manager of Tak Mu-i, a huge star played by Kim Hyun-jin.
Behind his success, Tak Mu-i hides deep emotional wounds linked to a harassment case he suffered.
As they work together, the two characters gradually grow closer, helping each other to overcome their wounds.
A romance based on mutual admiration
The new poster features Gong Yu-il and Tak Mu-i sitting side by side on a sofa, wearing matching outfits. Both are holding the same book in their hands, a detail that symbolizes the special bond between them.
The catchphrase perfectly sums up the spirit of the drama: «A romance between a star and a job seeker who are mutual fans of each other.»
This idea of mutual admiration is one of the central elements of the story. While Gong Yu-il simply dreams of a normal life, Tak Mu-i finds the strength to keep going thanks to a novel she had written several years earlier.
A story of healing and love
The production team explained, «Through the journey of Gong Yu-il and Tak Mu-i as they heal each other's emotional wounds while developing their relationship, we hope to offer viewers both comfort and emotional moments.»

Consisting of 12 episodes, «One of a Kind Romance» is due for release in the second half of 2026 on TVING.
