The Disney+ drama « A Shop for Killers »returns for season 2, and has unveiled its very first poster and a particularly intense teaser.
Adapted from the novel by Kang Ji-young, also known for “The Killer's Shopping List”, the series follows Jeong Ji-an, a young woman drawn unwillingly into a world of killers after inheriting her uncle's dangerous secret.
Lee Dong-wook returns... alive
In this new season, Kim Hye-joon will reprise her role as Jeong Ji-an, now the new leader of the mysterious underground shopping mall “Murthehelp”. But the big surprise is the return of Lee Dong-wook as Jeong Jin-man, who was presumed dead at the end of the first season.
The 2 characters will have to join forces to face Babylon, a particularly dangerous international organization.
The unveiled poster shows a huge warehouse filled with firearms, knives and combat equipment, heralding an even more ambitious and violent season. The slogan on the poster reads: «Once again, the doors of the mall open», already foreshadowing the escalation of the conflict.
A darker, more explosive season
The teaser also confirms an important development for Ji-an.
At one point, Jin-man declares, «This is my world, Jeong Ji-an.» A sentence that seems to symbolize the character's definitive entry into the world of assassins.
The video also highlights the ongoing rivalry between Jin-man and Bale, played by Jo Han-sun, while introducing new mercenaries from Babylon's Asian branch.
While the first season focused on Ji-an's survival, this sequel will concentrate more on a real counter-attack.
«A Shop for Killers» season 2 will begin airing in July 2026 on Disney+.
