The highly anticipated romantic drama « See You at Work Tomorrow! »has unveiled new images of Park Ji-hyun in his role. As a reminder, a few days ago we had the first photos of Seo In-guk in his role as cold boss.
Adapted from a popular webtoon, the drama will follow Cha Ji-yoon, an employee stuck in an exhausting work routine who sees her life change after meeting her superior Kang Si-woo, played by Seo In-guk.
A high-performance employee... but completely drained
Park Ji-hyun will play Cha Ji-yoon, a senior employee in Saeum Electronics' household appliance division.
At work, she is recognized as a particularly competent and efficient employee, constantly projecting the image of a model employee. But when she gets home, all her energy is gone.
The new photos unveiled by tvN show precisely this contrast between his professional and personal life.
A daily life that many can identify with
In some images, Cha Ji-yoon appears focused on her work with her professional badge around her neck, looking very serious.
Other photos reveal a much more natural and tired version of the character: hair tied up quickly, thick glasses, comfortable outfit, beer and fried chicken after a long day's work.
The production explains that the drama will seek to realistically portray the daily lives of modern employees and the emotions associated with burnout. Park Ji-hyun's acting will be more natural and intimate, making the character particularly relatable to audiences.
See You at Work Tomorrow! kicks off on June 22 at 8:50pm (Korean time) on tvN and will be simulcast on Prime Video.
