A new drama project is beginning to take shape. Shin Eun-soo is currently in talks to join the cast of “Hyupban”(working title), alongside Jang Keun-suk.
According to reports, the actress has received an offer and is considering the project positively. Her agency confirmed: “She has received an offer for ‘Hyupban’ and is considering it favorably.”

A drama of cooking, refuge and healing
“Hyupban” will tell the story of Ma Han-sang, a gangster with exceptional culinary talents. After saving a student from danger, he finds himself hiding out at home, becoming part of a three-generation family.
This unexpected setting becomes the starting point for a story centered on human relationships, where the characters grow closer and support each other through simple moments, especially over home-cooked meals.
Jang Keun-suk is rumored to play Ma Han-sang, while Lee El could play the mother in this multi-generational family. For her part, Shin Eun-soo could play the daughter, a student whose life is turned upside down after meeting this man with a troubled past.
The drama is adapted from a Japanese novel already brought to the screen in Japan in 2016, and should offer a warm, introspective approach, blending emotions and everyday moments.
Filming is scheduled to start in the first half of 2027.
