Good news for SEVENTEEN fans! Seungkwan could well be taking the next step in his career. The idol is currently in talks to make his acting debut in the drama “Wed Thurs Fri”(working title).
According to reports, he recently took part in a script reading, while his agency confirmed that he was considering the offer and was still adjusting the details of his schedule.
Romantic drama in a restaurant like no other
“Wed Thurs Fri” will take place in a restaurant with an original concept, open only 3 days a week. The story will follow a chef and a woman with a special bond to this place, in a romance mixing everyday life and emotions.
Casting, Shin Min-ah is being considered for the female lead role, while Lee Jin-wook could play the role of the chef at the heart of the story. Actor Yoo Teo is also rumored to be joining the project, although his participation is still under discussion.
The drama will be directed by Jung Dong-yoon, known for several hits, and written by Joo Hyun, a screenwriter renowned for her powerful stories.
If his participation is confirmed, Seungkwan will be taking his first steps into the world of drama, a challenge that is already arousing a great deal of curiosity. It now remains to be seen how he will fare in this first role... but one thing's for sure, expectations are already high.
