The drama " Agent Kim Reactivated »has unveiled the first official images of Choi Dae-hoon in character.
Adapted from the acclaimed webtoon “Manager Kim”, the action-revenge drama will follow an ordinary father willing to become «the most dangerous man in the world» in order to save his daughter.
Former taekwondo champion turned secret agent
Choi Dae-hoon plays Sung Han-soo, a former national taekwondo gold medalist and secret agent who has become the director of a small neighborhood dojo.
The new photos reveal two very different sides to the character. On the one hand, Sung Han-soo appears as a warm and caring teacher to his young pupils. On the other, several images recall his glorious past as a champion celebrated after winning a gold medal for Korea.
But behind this peaceful life lies a formidable fighter with ever-present instincts.
Choi Dae-hoon promises a multi-faceted character
The actor shared his excitement about the drama: «I'm extremely happy and grateful to finally be able to share this drama with viewers after such an enjoyable shoot.»
He describes his character as «sharp, prickly and tender all at once», heralding a mix of humor, emotion and action. The production team also praised his performance: «Choi Dae-hoon possesses an exceptional ability to fully embody his characters.» The team promises not only intense action scenes, but also a strong comic dimension.
«Agent Kim Reactivated» starring So Ji-sub and Choi Dae-hoon will debut on June 26 at 9:50pm (Korean time) on Netflix.
