After the success of the first season in 2023, Bloodhounds returns with an even more intense new season. Netflix has unveiled the first poster and a teaser for « Bloodhounds 2« announcing a brutal confrontation between Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi and Rain.
The dark action series follows two young men plunged into the dangerous world of pawnbroking. After dismantling a network of criminals in the first season, Gun-woo and Woo-jin now face a threat on an entirely different scale.
A duo more determined than ever
The poster reveals Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) covered in wounds, but still standing side by side, fists raised. Between them, a promise sums up their determination: «Bite and protect to the end.»
In the teaser, the two friends continue their journey after defeating a group of violent pawnbrokers. Gun-woo now dreams of becoming a boxing champion, while Woo-jin stays by his side as a trainer.
The two men seal their friendship with a promise: «Until the day we die, let's shout “Ack” together.»
A formidable new adversary
But their path soon crosses that of Baek Jeong, played by Rain, leader of an underground world boxing league.
Motivated only by money, he chooses Gun-woo as his new target. Faced with this growing threat, the two fighters realize they'll have to go even further.
Gun-woo then asserts, «To slaughter a beast, I have to become dumber than it.»
The series will be available on Netflix on April 3.
