The story follows Do Ji-eui, a public health doctor played by Lee Jae-wook, who is sent to the isolated and feared island of Pyeondong. Marked by a sea-related trauma, he usually avoids islands, but finds himself forced to live there. The drama promises to explore in depth his inner evolution, from a closed and distant man to someone capable of opening up and transforming himself through contact with others.
Lee Jae-wook stars as Do Ji-eui, a former university hospital plastic surgeon. Marked by a trauma linked to the islands and the ocean, he finds himself reluctantly assigned to Pyeondong. But what looks set to be a difficult assignment will gradually become a turning point in his life.
Opposite him, Shin Ye-eun plays Yook Ha-ri, a nurse with a troubled past, transferred from a major hospital to this isolated medical center. Determined, she ignores rumors and devotes herself to helping those who cross her path, especially a certain doctor whom she seems determined to support at all costs.
