tvN continues to promote its next fantasy drama « Spooky in Love »by unveiling new images highlighting the budding relationship between Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong.
Remake of the 2011 Korean film «Spellbound», the drama will mix romance, criminal investigation and supernatural phenomena.
An heiress who can see ghosts
Park Eun-bin plays Cheon Yeo-ri, manager of the luxurious Reina Hotel. Behind her perfect appearance lies a dark secret: she can see ghosts and hear their voices.
To protect this secret, she avoids human relationships and spends much of her time soothing the regrets of the dead who cross her path.
A brilliant prosecutor... but terrorized by spirits
Opposite her, Yang Se-jong plays Ma Gang-wook, star prosecutor of the Seoul Public Prosecutor's Office. Known for his keen sense of justice and determination to solve the most complex cases, he hides an unexpected weakness: he's deeply afraid of ghosts.
While investigating several unsolved cases, his destiny eventually crosses that of Cheon Yeo-ri.
A meeting that could change everything
The new photos show the 2 characters reuniting on several occasions, notably at crime scenes and in various locations linked to the investigations.
Their hesitant, wary glances are evidence of a relationship that begins in mystery. But one detail in particular catches the eye: Cheon Yeo-ri appears without her gloves in front of Ma Gang-wook.
This gesture was far from harmless, since previous teasers suggested that any physical contact could have particular consequences linked to his curse.
The series promises to combine romance, humor, investigation and the occult around a duo who are at odds with each other. On one side, a woman who has always seen spirits. On the other, a man who fears them more than anything.
«Spooky in Love» will begin airing on July 18 on tvN and Netflix. We can't wait to see Park Eun-bin in this role!
