The drama “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier”continues to lift the veil on its universe with new images focusing on the Gangrim outpost, where much of the plot takes place.
This military-fantasy comedy follows Kang Sung-jae, starring Park Ji-hoon, is a young soldier whose destiny changes when a mysterious quest appears before him. Assigned to an isolated unit, he has to adapt to a strict environment while gradually discovering his unexpected path in the kitchen.
The new images highlight his daily life, marked by discipline but also by a certain confusion in the face of this new reality.
Strong personalities to coach Kang Sung-jae
In Gangrim, Kang Sung-jae finds himself surrounded by key figures who will influence his career. Among them, Park Jae-young, played by Yoon Kyung-ho, is chief warrant officer in charge of supplies. Behind his apparent calm, he has an explosive reputation due to numerous incidents, and is perceived as an unpredictable element within the unit.
At her side, Lieutenant Cho Ye-rin, played by Han Dong-hee, imposes a natural authority. Known for her strong sense of duty, she doesn't hesitate to express her convictions and maintain strict discipline, making her a central figure in the running of the outpost.
Finally, Yoon Dong-hyun, played by Lee Hong-nae, completes the trio as the camp's head cook. Ironically, he's known for his lack of sense of taste, a characteristic that has contributed to the military canteen's bad reputation, adding a touch of humor to the ensemble.
In this atypical environment, Kang Sung-jae will have to find his place and evolve alongside these contrasting personalities, who will play a decisive role in his career.
The drama will air from May 11 at 8:50pm (Korean time).
