The drama “Gold Land”continues to unveil its universe with new images highlighting the tensions surrounding its main character.
This series follows Hee-joo, a security guard at an international airport, whose life is turned upside down when she comes into possession of gold ingots linked to a smuggling ring. The situation soon attracts greed, betrayal and manipulation, plunging her into a dangerous downward spiral.
Between fragile alliances and betrayals
The new images highlight the complex relationships that develop around Hee-joo, played by Park Bo-young. In the face of danger, her character seems to evolve, ready to do anything to protect the gold that gradually becomes an obsession.
Alongside him, Woo-gi (Kim Sung-cheol) discovers the existence of the ingots and proposes an alliance as risky as it is strategic. Their relationship oscillates between cooperation and threat, leaving constant tension.

As for Lee Do-kyung (Lee Hyun-wook), her partner, the situation becomes just as unstable. Faced with the lure of gain, he seems to hesitate, jeopardizing their relationship and raising the question of a difficult choice between love and ambition.

The character of Kim Jin-man (Kim Hee-won), a corrupt policeman, adds an unpredictable dimension to the plot. His watchful gaze, both detached and calculating, foreshadows decisive interventions.
At the same time, the conflictual relationship between Hee-joo and his mother (Moon Jung-hee) reinforces the emotional depth of the story, revealing a more intimate and tragic side of the character.

Finally, the presence of Director Park (Lee Kwang-soo), engaged in a relentless pursuit, foreshadows the tension and confrontation to come.

With these multiple dynamics, “Gold Land” promises to be an intense thriller, where every relationship can be turned on its head at any moment.
The 10-episode drama will start airing on April 29 with the first 2 episodes, followed by 2 episodes a week on Disney+, including in France.
