The upcoming romantic drama « Love in Sync »continues to reveal its world with a new trailer and several never-before-seen images highlighting the chemistry between Kim Myung-soo (L of INFINITE) and Kang Min-ah.
Set to premiere on July 4, the series promises a blend of romance, comedy, and fantasy centered around a phenomenon that is as strange as it is unexpected.
A star at the top… but plagued by doubt
Kang Min-ah plays Yoo Ji-an, a leading actress and former idol who has become a major star in the entertainment industry. The new trailer first shows her looking confident, admiring her reflection in an elegant evening gown. But behind this perfect image lie very real vulnerabilities.
After receiving harsh criticism of her acting, Yoo Ji-an breaks down in tears, revealing a much more vulnerable side than the one she shows in public. Determined to improve, she decides to see a psychologist.
Kim Myung-soo plays the role of a very empathetic counselor
Opposite her is Cha Eun-hwan, played by Kim Myung-soo. Known for his kindness and expertise, this psychologist—who is well-liked by everyone—has one distinctive trait: he feels other people’s emotions with unusual intensity.
When Yoo Ji-an becomes his new patient, their first meeting is far from warm. The released footage shows the two characters sizing each other up warily during their initial sessions, each trying to understand the other.
A mysterious emotional bond
But everything changes when a strange supernatural phenomenon strikes them. For some unknown reason, Yoo Ji-an and Cha Eun-hwan begin to share each other’s emotions.
This mysterious «emotional connection» compels them to work closely together for three months in order to understand what is happening to them and find a solution. Over time, their relationship gradually evolves from mistrust to an increasingly evident bond.
A relationship that is starting to change
The trailer also hints at a major turning point in their relationship.
During an unexpected encounter at a police station, Cha Eun-hwan steps in to protect Yoo Ji-an from an awkward situation by saying, «No. I’m her advisor.»
This interaction seems to mark a shift in the young woman's view of him.
The latest released images, in fact, show the two of them much closer together, hinting at a budding romance at the heart of this fantasy story.
