The drama “My Royal Nemesis”unveils a new teaser highlighting the explosive evolution of the relationship between Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-joon.
In this romantic comedy, Lim Ji-yeon plays Shin Seo-ri, an actress possessed by the spirit of a formidable Joseon-era antagonist, while Heo Nam-jun plays Cha Se-gye, a cold and controversial heir.
An explosive encounter between 2 villains“
The teaser begins with the tragic fate of Kang Dan-shim, a feared figure of the Joseon era whose life comes to an abrupt end. The story then shifts to the present, where Cha Se-gye fully embraces his sulphurous reputation, going so far as to confront a hostile crowd without the slightest emotion.
The meeting between the 2 characters is immediate and chaotic. From their very first exchanges, tensions explode, culminating in a physical confrontation... with flowers, in a scene as absurd as it is revealing of their dynamic.
An intense and unpredictable romance
Despite their initial hostility, an unexpected attraction begins to emerge. Cha Se-gye, at first in denial, eventually recognizes Seo-ri's importance in her life, hinting at a marked evolution in their relationship.
The teaser also features the arrival of Jang Seung-jo as Choi Moon-do, whose intentions seem to add new tension to the plot.
The drama will air from May 8 at 9:50pm (Korean time) and is available on Netflix. We can't wait to see these 2 actors in their «bad guy» roles fall in love!
