The drama “Filing for Love”continues to unveil its characters with new images focusing on Jeon Jae-yeol, played by Kim Jae-wook, a leader as charismatic as he is mysterious.
In this romantic comedy set in the corporate world, the story follows Noh Ki-joon (Gong Myoung), a model employee suddenly demoted, who finds himself working alongside Joo In-ah (Shin Hae-sun), a leader as strict as she is enigmatic. At the heart of this universe, Jeon Jae-yeol is a key figure.
A perfect façade that hides wounds
Jeon Jae-yeol is presented as a 3rd generation heir at the head of the Haemu Group. Elegant, competent and self-assured, he seems to embody absolute success. The new images show him in an impeccable suit, moving through the company's spaces with a natural ease that immediately attracts attention.
But behind this flawless appearance, the character reveals a more fragile side. A more melancholy expression in some of the visuals suggests a charged past and emotions he carefully conceals.
Kim Jae-wook explains that he was attracted by the originality of the setting, in particular the idea of a team charged with investigating internal corporate misconduct. He confides: “The setting around the audit team was very interesting. The script was dynamic, which made for a fluid read.”
He adds that the relationships between the characters, built around realistic situations, make the story particularly immersive. In his opinion, seeing the two main characters grow closer through their work brings an added charm to the drama.
Regarding his role, he describes Jeon Jae-yeol as a man carrying a heavy responsibility. “He's someone who has to run a company, but who can't show that weight or the toughness associated with competition. So he always displays a composed, controlled image, but remains deeply solitary, marked by regrets linked to a past decision.”
The drama will be broadcast from April 25 at 9:10pm (Korean time) on tvN and available on Viki.
