The drama " Cabbage Your Life »continues to unveil its universe with a new poster featuring the inhabitants of the village of Yeonriri. The series follows the eventful story of Sung Tae-hoon and his city-dwelling family who suddenly find themselves settled in the countryside, while searching for a way back to Seoul.
The poster features a village map showing Yeonriri's various residents, hinting at the many relationships, tensions and stories that will develop in this rural setting.
Already complicated relations with villagers
Having just arrived in the village following an unexpected transfer, Sung Tae-hoon (Park Sung-woong) immediately comes into conflict with village chief Im Joo-hyung (Lee Seo-hwan). Their first meeting is already marked by a strong rivalry.
The images show Sung Tae-hoon working in the fields while Im Joo-hyung appears to be laughing at him, foreshadowing a particularly tense relationship between the two men.
Meanwhile, Jo Mi-ryeo (Lee Soo-kyung), Tae-hoon's wife, tries to fit in by getting closer to Nam Hye-sun (Nam Kwon-ah), an influential village figure and president of the women's association. She visits her Sunny Hair salon, which also serves as a café, in the hope of forging a bond with her.
A budding romance and many stories in the village
The couple's children also add a touch of humor and emotion. Second son Sung Ji-sang (Seo Yoon-hyuk) is already complaining about the commute to school, while youngest son Sung Ji-gu (Yang Woo-hyuk) maintains a much happier attitude.
In the midst of this new life in the countryside, a romance also begins to take shape. Sung Ji-cheon (Lee Jin-woo), Tae-hoon's eldest son, gradually grows closer to Im Bo-mi (Choi Gyu-ri), the village chief's daughter. Their budding attraction is complicated by the fact that their parents are rivals.
The situation becomes even more complicated with Park Soon-kyung (Choi Woo-jin), who watches their relationship with jealousy, hinting at a love triangle that could well enliven village life.
In addition, other stories are set to develop in Yeonriri, such as the secret rendezvous of Lee Sun-ja (Lee Sun-hee) and Wang Dong-sik (Park Seok-won), or the comments of the Rae sisters - Lee Deok-rae, Lee Ok-rae and Lee Mak-rae - who watch with amusement the arguments between Sung Tae-hoon and Im Joo-hyung.
It remains to be seen whether Sung Tae-hoon's family will be able to adapt to rural life and integrate with the colorful inhabitants of Yeonriri.
