A phenomenon novel with lasting success

Published in Korea in 2012, The Miracles of the Namiya General Store tells the story of three thieves who find refuge in an old abandoned store, the Namiya convenience store, a mysterious place where past and present intersect through letters asking for advice. Answering these messages, the protagonists discover a tangle of destinies and an unexpected link with their own lives.

The novel was an outstanding success in Korea, ranking as one of the best-selling Japanese novels over a decade, with sales topping the million mark. Its adaptation as a series, planned in around ten episodes for a global OTT platform, is therefore generating high expectations.
