MBC has unveiled the 1st teaser for its new drama To the Moona series that promises to mix humor, emotion and social criticism through the story of 3 ordinary women ready to do anything to change their destiny.

At the heart of the story are Jung Da-hae (Lee Sun-bin), Kang Eun-sang (Ra Mi-ran) and Kim Ji-song (Jo A-ram). Precarious employees in a confectionery company called Maron Confectionery, they call themselves The Ordinarys (neither brilliant, nor mediocre, but bound together by a deep mutual understanding and solid friendship). Faced with a reality where their salaries are no longer enough to survive, they decide to climb aboard a risky train together: that of the cryptocurrency.
The teaser opens in a symbolic setting: the interior of the "crypto train", where Kang Eun-sang says in a deep voice: " This train is destined for the moon".. At his side, Jung Da-hae cries out: "Let me take off, even just once!", marking the start of this up-and-down financial adventure.
The emotions of the 3 heroines oscillate between euphoria and despair. The fiery cries of "To the moon!" intermingle with scenes of tears and self-doubt. Yet even after emptying her savings account, Jung Da Hae doesn't give up, and gives her friends a boost: "Let's go to the moon!
The trailer ends on a hopeful note: the 3 women, gathered under a starry sky, exclaim with a mixture of innocence and determination: "What a beautiful night!". An image that symbolizes both their dream of escape and their thirst for success, despite the risks.
To the Moon goes on air on September 19. No OTT platform has yet been announced.
