The drama “Reborn Rookie”continues to unveil its plot with a new teaser that highlights the radical transformation of its main character.
The story follows Kang Yong-ho, played by Son Hyun-joo, a powerful chairman at the head of the Choi Sung Group. After an accident, his soul is transferred to the body of a young soccer player named Hwang Jun-hyun, played by Lee Jun-young.
The teaser begins in a hospital, where Hwang Jun-hyun is stunned to discover his new reflection. Deprived of the power and wealth he once possessed, Kang Yong-ho struggles to accept his new reality and explodes: «Why am I him?»
A secret alliance to recover the company
This change also upsets his relationship with his own children. Now trapped in another body, he suspects that Kang Jae-kyung (Jeon Hye-jin) and Kang Jae-sung (Jin Goo) are involved in schemes to take control of the group.
Determined to take back what he considers his own, Hwang Jun-hyun infiltrates his former company as a trainee.
That's when he joins forces with Kang Bang-geul, played by Lee Ju-myoung, Kang Yong-ho's youngest daughter. Together, they seem ready to strike back and win back Choi Sung Group.
The teaser concludes with a sentence that perfectly sums up their objective: «Let's take Choi Sung back.»
