tvN's next drama « Mad Concrete Dreams »is getting closer to its release and unveils new images featuring Ha Jung-woo and Shim Eun-kyung in a particularly tense encounter.
The series follows Ki Su-jong, a building owner in dire financial straits. Just as he's about to become a homeowner, which he sees as his last chance in life, the accumulation of debt prompts him to become involved in a staged kidnapping. But the plan quickly turns into a nightmare when the fake kidnapping suddenly becomes the real thing.
A disturbing encounter around a coveted building
The new images show the first confrontation between Ki Su-jong and Yo-na, played by Shim Eun-kyung, an employee of an investment company called Real Capital.
Yo-na is particularly interested in Seyoon Building, Ki Su-jong's building. For Ki Su-jong, the building represents his last chance of escape, but he is suddenly faced with the threat of losing it.
Taken by surprise by Yo-na's arrival, Ki Su-jong desperately tries to explain his situation and protect what he has left.
A cold and mysterious adversary
Facing him, Yo-na remains impassive. Without showing the slightest emotion, she calmly continues her steps while staring at Ki Su-jong with an almost innocent gaze, which makes the situation all the more unsettling.
Behind her also stands a disturbing figure: the morticianplayed by Lee Shin-gi, whose silent presence heightens the tension.
Realizing that the situation is much more than just a property dispute, Ki Su-jong soon finds himself running around trying to save his building.
It remains to be seen what consequences this strange encounter with Yo-na will have on his destiny.
The drama «Mad Concrete Dreams» will air from March 14 at 9:10pm (KST) on tvN and will also be available on Viki.
