The new variety program “Bonjour Bakery” begins to reveal itself with the publication of a first poster highlighting the show's warm atmosphere. Scheduled to air shortly, the program promises a soothing interlude (from other kdramas?) in a rural setting, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
An original concept, “Bonjour Bakery” takes place in a peaceful village around Korea's first French dessert café for senior citizens. Pastries are prepared using local ingredients, in a friendly, caring atmosphere.
On the poster, Kim Hee-ae and Cha Seung-won appear in the foreground, smiling, holding madeleines and coffee respectively. Behind them, Kim Seon-ho and Lee Ki-taek complete the picture with luminous expressions, illustrating the team's complicity.

A feel-good program focused on sharing
In addition to its friendly atmosphere, the program is based on a well-defined division of roles. Cha Seung-won and Lee Ki-taek are embarking on their first foray into pastry-making as chefs, an unprecedented experience that promises its share of challenges.
On their side, Kim Hee-ae and Kim Seon-ho are in charge of reception and room service. Their particular attention to customers, especially the elderly, and their warm exchanges should bring a deeply human dimension to the program.
With its concept based on conviviality, transmission and encounters, “Bonjour Bakery” promises to be a heart-warming show, driven by a beautiful chemistry between its participants.
The program will be broadcast from May 8 at 4pm (Korean time) and will be available on Viki.
