The actor Lee Si-eon will officially return to the small screen in 2026. On December 15, several South Korean media outlets announced that he would join the cast of « Bloodhounds Season 2, the hit Netflix series. His role is already intriguing: he should be the main antagonist of this new chapter.

His agency, Story J Company, confirmed the information, adding: «It is true that Lee Si-eon will appear in Bloodhounds season 2. We ask for your understanding that we cannot disclose any further details at this time.»
A new threat for Geon-u and U-jin: a global illegal boxing league
Season 2 will pick up the story of Geon-u and U-jin after they dismantled an underground loan shark network. But the duo will face a much larger adversary: a world illegal boxing league, inspired by the original webtoon by Jeong Chan. The series will once again be directed by Jason Kim, known for his films Midnight Runners, The Divine Fury, My Heart Puppy and other action and thriller projects.
Lee Si-eon will share the screen with Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, Rainand Hwang Chan-sung (2PM). According to rumors reported in the press, DEX and Park Seo-joon are expected to make cameo appearances in this second season, further fueling anticipation for the series.

A highly anticipated return after almost two years away
This appearance marks Lee Si-eon's return to K-dramas after nearly two years. His last appearance was in 2024, when he played a role in The Player 2: Master of Swindlers. That same year, he made cameo appearances in Good Partner and Family by Choice.
In 2025, he did not appear in any K-dramas, except for a special appearance in Nice to Not Meet You.
Over the years, Lee Si-eon has distinguished himself in numerous flagship projects such as Bad Prosecutor, Cheat on Me If You Can, Queen: Love and War, Abyss, The Player, Live, Two Cops, W or even Reply 1997.
