The new drama from tvN, Typhoon Family, has just revealed a poster and teaser that are already building anticipation. Scheduled for October 11 at 9:20 p.m. Also available on Netflix, this drama promises a story that's human, touching and full of determination.
A rookie facing the MFI storm
At the heart of the story are Kang Tae-poong (played by Lee Junho), a carefree young man propelled overnight to the head of a trading company in the midst of an economic crisis, with no employees, no money, and no goods to sell. The poster shows him beaming, sitting among cargo, clutching a roll of fabric. The accompanying sentence, "You can count on me. I didn't start all this just to save myself", conveys the promise of a man determined to protect more than just his own survival.

A teaser full of intensity and emotion
The teaser highlights Tae Poong's transformation: once a young man from Apgujeong, he finds himself hit hard by the 1997 crisis. Between doubts, anger and responsibility, he finally chooses the path of a true leader, pronouncing with conviction, "I want to become a real employee of the Typhoon Company."
The staging alternates between poignant scenes and intense moments, including a striking sequence in which Tae Poong throws himself in front of a speeding truck, symbolizing his total commitment.
With its mix of emotions, social drama and initiation, Typhoon Family is shaping up to be a must-see series this fall.
