Lee Jong-suk could soon be back in a dark and intense new drama!
According to several Korean media, the actor has been offered the lead role in “Paradise”, a psychological thriller currently in preparation.
His agency confirmed the information, stating that “Paradise” was one of the projects proposed to the actor, without confirming his official participation for the moment.

A project by the team behind “Beyond Evil”
The drama will be written by Kim Soo-jin, screenwriter of Beyond Evil, the acclaimed series that won Best Drama and Best Screenplay at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
The story will follow Kang Jin-hyuk, a huge star whose life is turned upside down after his involvement in a drug-related case. Other reports suggest an investigation into secrets and crimes involving a journalist and a policewoman, against a backdrop of social issues in South Korea.
Oh Choong-hwan, known for his work on Start-Up, Castaway Diva and Big Mouth, will direct.
If Lee Jong-suk finally accepts the role, “Paradise” will mark his 3rd collaboration with the director after “While You Were Sleeping” and “Big Mouth”. With a creative team already very popular with fans of Korean thrillers, the project is already attracting a lot of attention despite the absence of a confirmed cast.
The drama is currently aiming for a 2027 broadcast.
