It's official: Lee Je-hoon will star in an eagerly-awaited new legal drama, tentatively entitled « There's a Winning Chance« . The project, developed for SBS, looks to be a Korean adaptation of a successful Japanese series, focusing on the downfall (and possible redemption) of a former lawyer.
On February 10, Korean media confirmed Lee Je-hoon's participation in the project. His agency, COMPANY ON, quickly validated the information, stating, «Lee Je-hoon has confirmed his participation in the new SBS drama, “There's a Winning Chance”.»

A courtroom drama of fall and revenge
There's a Winning Chance is the Korean adaptation of the Japanese series Legal V: Former Lawyer Takanashi Shoko, broadcast in 2018 on TV Asahi. The story revolves around a former lawyer deprived of his license, whose life turns upside down after a mistake or an event still kept secret.
Deprived of his status, the main character finds himself on the bangs of the legal system he knew by heart. But this exclusion also becomes an opportunity: to question the rules, to circumvent the obstacles and to prove that there's always a chance of winning, even when all seems lost.
Lee Je-hoon, renowned for his intense, nuanced roles, is set to play this central character, torn between his professional past, his desire for justice and his quest for personal revenge.
Casting in the final stages
Alongside Lee Je-hoon, Ha Young is expected to play an important role, although his agency has not yet officially confirmed its participation. Other players are also mentioned in the discussions: Lee Jae-won, Ok Ja-yeon and Cho Seong-ha.
The drama is scheduled for broadcast next year on SBS. Still in the development phase, There's a Winning Chance is already attracting the interest of fans of courtroom series, not least thanks to its focus on a fallen protagonist, far removed from idealized lawyer figures.
