The next dramatic thriller “DASH”continues to attract attention with an increasingly impressive cast. According to Korean media reports, Kim Joon-han and Kim Seo-hyung will be joining the project alongside Shin Hye-sun, currently in discussion for the lead role.
Scheduled for SBS in 2027, “DASH” will follow Min Hwa-young, a prosecutor confronted with a terrible murder case involving her own husband. Caught between love and justice, she will seek to uncover the truth behind the case.
A trio of actors renowned for their intensity
The arrival of Kim Jun-han is already generating a great deal of interest. The actor has made a name for himself in recent years thanks to outstanding roles in «Hospital Playlist», «Anna», «One Spring Night» and “Good Partner”. His often subtle and intense acting should perfectly match the tense, psychological atmosphere of “DASH”.
But the announcement that is attracting the most attention is that of Kim Seo-hyung. The actress will be making her comeback in a drama for the first time since «Paper Moon» in 2023.
Known for her icy charisma and powerful performances in SKY Castle, Mine and Nobody Knows, she is often considered one of the most intense actresses of her generation.
A highly anticipated confrontation with Shin Hye-sun
The project is also attracting a great deal of attention thanks to the possible collaboration between Shin Hye-sun and Kim Seo-hyung. The 2 actresses are regularly referred to as “믿보배” in Korea, an expression used to describe artists “whose acting quality can be believed with your eyes closed”. In other words, there's going to be tension in the air!
Shin Hye-sun recently won acclaim for her performances in “The Art of Sarah” and “Filing for Love”, further confirming her reputation as an actress capable of portraying emotionally complex characters.
