JTBC is gearing up for a particularly kdrama-rich 2026. The channel has unveiled some of its upcoming programming, showcasing a wide variety of genres, from romance and thrillers to psychological drama and historical action.
Several eagerly-awaited projects have been confirmed, with strong casts and a variety of concepts.
A varied program supported by strong castings
Among the first dramas announced, “We Are All Trying Here” will meet Koo Kyo-hwan and Go Youn-jung. The series, scheduled for April 18, 2026, will follow a man in search of meaning who feels overwhelmed by the success of his loved ones. It will also be available on Netflix and will follow the TV broadcast.

With an original concept, “The New Employee Chairman Kang”will star Lee Jun-young, Son Hyun-joo, Lee Ju-myoung, Jeon Hye-jin and Jin Goo. The drama will tell the story of a powerful executive who, after an accident, finds himself in the body of a young employee. Broadcast from May 2026.

The drama “Apartment”The film, starring Ji Sung, Ha Yun-kyung, Park Byung-eun and Moon So-ri, promises to be darker. It will follow a former gangster determined to recover money hidden in a building. The series is scheduled for release in July 2026.

On the competition front, “Final Table”will reunite Ahn Hyo-seop, Hong Hwa-yeon, Chang Ryul and Jung Yoo-jin. The drama will delve into an international competition between Korean chefs. Broadcasting is also scheduled for 2026.

Romance, psychological tension and historical action
Romance is also on the agenda with “Gold Digger”starring Kim Hee-ae and Noh Sang-hyun. This remake of a British series will explore an ambiguous relationship between an accomplished woman and a younger man, against the backdrop of a central question: «Is it love or manipulation?»

Finally, “God's Beads” will offer a historical fresco combining action and romance, set during the Goryeo dynasty. The drama will follow a team on a mission to recover sacred relics, against a backdrop of war and political strife. Broadcast in December 2026.

With this programming, JTBC confirms its commitment to offering a wide range of series, capable of reaching a broad audience in 2026.
