After several years' absence from the small screen, Hani (EXID) could soon be returning to dramas. According to information relayed on January 8 by the Korean media, the singer and actress is currently in talks to play the lead role in the next KBS weekend drama, entitled « Love Is Coming » (사랑이 온다).
His agency, SUBLIME, confirmed the information cautiously, saying, «Hani is currently considering the casting proposal for the KBS2 drama “Love Is Coming”.» A measured response, but enough to get fans excited.
A landmark project for an actress on a 3-year hiatus
If she accepts the role, Hani will play the main character, Han Gyu-rim. The project would be all the more symbolic in that it would mark her first weekend drama on KBS, and its return to television drama after a three-year absence, since his last drama Call It Love.
