The cast of the drama “May the Congressman Protect You”continues to expand with the arrival of Ahn Eun-jin. The actress will make a special appearance, but in a role important to the plot.
Adapted from a popular web novel, the drama tells the story of Goo Young-jin, a powerful politician who, after his death in 2008, returns as a ghost... and wakes up 10 years earlier, in 1998. He teams up with a young civil servant, Cha Jae-rim, in an attempt to take control of the political world.
Ahn Eun-jin in a key role
Ahn Eun-jin will play Goo Seung-hee, the daughter of the main character played by Kim Yoon-seok. Although her appearance is announced as a special one, her character should have an important weight in the story, especially as in the webroman, she ends up marrying Kim Seon-ho's character.
With this role, the actress continues her string of high-profile projects, confirming her place as one of the must-see faces of the moment.
A career on the rise
First seen in “Hospital Playlist” and “My Dearest”, Ahn Eun-jin has made a name for herself with a variety of roles and a striking screen presence.
She is also expected to appear in another upcoming drama, where she will star opposite Seo Kang-joon in “Another Love But You” (working title), making it even more topical.
With “The Congressman's Blessing”, she returns to a different universe, mixing politics, fantasy and comedy, alongside Kim Seon-ho.
