After two highly successful seasons, «Yumi's Cells» will soon be making a comeback. Season 3 of the popular romantic drama has officially confirmed its broadcast schedule.
According to information announced on March 4, the series will first go online on the TVING platform on the afternoon of April 13, before being broadcast on tvN in the Monday and Tuesday slot.
A tvN representative confirmed: « Yumi's Cells 3 will be pre-broadcast on TVING on the afternoon of April 13 and then broadcast on tvN. »
A new stage in Yumi's life
Adapted from the successful webtoon of the same name, Yumi's Cells tells the story of an ordinary office worker, Yumi, played by Kim Go-eun. The series' originality lies in a unique concept: the story is also told from the point of view of the many cells in her brain, which control her thoughts, emotions and decisions.
In this new season, Yumi's life has changed dramatically. After much hard work, she has become a successful author. Her talent as a novelist has won over readers and brought her great recognition.
Yet despite this professional success, love remains the most complicated challenge of her life.
A new upheaval in the “cell village”.”
Just as Yumi's life seems to have calmed down and the “cell village” is going through a relatively quiet period, the arrival of a new person turns her daily life upside down. Soon Rok, played by Kim Jae-won, brings a breath of fresh air into her life and awakens her emotions.
The series will follow on from Siren's Kiss, with Park Min-young, Wi Ha-joon and Kim Jung-hyun.
Yumi's Cells 3 will be pre-broadcast on April 13 on TVING before airing on tvN.
