Sometimes a friendship can last a lifetime... but at what cost? The new JTBC / Netflix drama, You and Everything Elseinvites us to follow the emotional journey of 2 women, Eun Jung (Kim Go-eun) and Sang Yeon (Park Ji-hyun), whose unbreakable bond will be put to the test for over 40 years. A story marked by tenderness and admiration, but also jealousy and unspoken words.
The drama traces their relationship through 4 major stages of life. As a teenager, Eun Jung is sunny and well-liked, despite her modest family background. Sang Yeon, from a wealthy background, seems more reserved, even solitary. Their high school encounter marks the start of a bond as touching as it is fragile, fueled by mutual admiration but also tinged with silent envy.

Their paths cross again at university. The smiles they exchange give the impression of a beautiful reconnection, but all is not so simple. Eun Jung senses a change in Sang Yeon, whose behavior seems both familiar and strangely distant. Complicity is reborn, but questions remain.

Tension reaches its peak in the thirties. A new face-to-face, this time marked by embarrassment and bitterness. Past wounds, never healed, resurface. Sang Yeon's gaze, as hard to read as ever, confuses Eun Jung. Grudges mingle with happy memories, turning their relationship into a minefield.

And then comes the shock. At the age of 40, Sang Yeon reappears, shattered by an incurable disease. She asks Eun Jung to accompany her to Switzerland... to die with dignity. This request turns everything upside down. Between incomprehension, anger and compassion, Eun Jung finds herself faced with an impossible dilemma.

You and Everything Else promises an intense emotional fresco, carried by two talented actresses and a deeply human story. A drama about friendship, pain, reunion... and farewell.
