tvN has just unveiled new posters for its next drama fantasy romance Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, expected for August 23 (not yet confirmed in France). Inspired by a best-selling web novel, this series promises a tasty mix of time travel, royal romance and the culinary arts.
The plot follows Yeon Ji-young (Lim Yoona, Girls' Generation), an award-winning French chef, propelled 500 years in the past. There, she crosses paths with Lee Heon (Lee Chae-min), a despot king renowned as one of the worst tyrants... but also a gourmet.
The main poster shows the two characters seated in front of a feast combining Western cuisine and traditional Korean dishes. Armed with their cutlery, they seem ready to savor this banquet fit for a king, proof that Yeon Ji-young has already conquered the palace... and perhaps the sovereign's heart.

With its mix of genres, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty could well become the summer's tastiest historical romantic comedy. Come and see for yourself on August 23.
