The crime series event " Villains "is about to arrive with a playground as fascinating as it is chilling: that of the supernotes, fake banknotes so perfect they become indistinguishable from the real thing. Through its main trailer unveiled on December 1, the drama sets up a universe where every look can lie and every wedding ring can kill.

When the false becomes more dangerous than the true

The story involves a shadow war between criminals desperate to get their hands on 500 billion won in counterfeit money. But in this chessboard where truth becomes falsehood and falsehood becomes truth, no one plays to survive: everyone plays to dominate.

At the center of this chaos is Yoo Ji-tae as J, a criminal mastermind nicknamed "Code Name J", mastermind of the notorious counterfeit casino bill scandal that has rocked the country in the past. Charismatic, elusive, calculating: J never appears without controlling the scene. His mere presence in the trailer, gun in hand in a dark alley, is enough to impose immediate tension.

Opposite him, Lee Min-jung plays Han Soo-hyun, an outstanding banknote artist. Shattered by a past event, she plunges back into the hell of counterfeiting with a clear objective: to turn the game around to her advantage. It's J who suggests she create "the perfect fake", the supernotethe one that will turn the financial... and human... order upside down.

A war of intelligence and betrayal

But Villains is not content to simply set up shop. Soon, alliances begin to crack. Han Soo-hyun captures J at a mysterious fire site... only to be brutally pushed away by him. Between desire, manipulation and survival, their relationship becomes a moving frontier between collaboration and destruction.

In the shadows, Lee Beom-soo plays Cha Gi-tae, former head of the secret service's financial crimes department. The man lost everything in the first counterfeit case and now pursues J like a ghost that no one can bury. His obsession isn't justice: it's the end of the story, whatever the cost.

The trailer issues a blunt warning: "The worst 'super' crime begins."

The story promises to be brutal, cerebral and with no comfortable way out. Here, no one wins. You survive - or you disappear.
