The actor Choi Woo-shik recently shared her impressions of her new romantic drama Would You Marry Medebuting on October 10 on SBS.

A romantic comedy like no other
The series tells the story of Kim Woo-joo (Choi Woo-shik), heir to Korea's oldest bakery, and Yoo Mary (Jung So-min), a daring entrepreneur. To obtain a luxury home reserved for newlyweds, they strike an astonishing deal: a 90-day fake wedding. Between misunderstandings and emotions, their agreement turns into a story full of twists and turns.
Choi Woo-shik explains that he was attracted by the originality of the script and by the opportunity to work with the director. Song Hyun-wook (Beauty Inside, Marriage, Not Dating), as well as with Jung So-min. "I was curious to see how their meeting would evolve and how the story would end," he confides.

100 out of 100" chemistry
The actor makes no secret of his admiration for his partner: "Working with Jung So-min was the most rewarding part. She's so talented that with every scene, I felt I was learning from her."
He gives their complicity a perfect score: 100 out of 100promising a vibrant on-screen romance.
On his role, Choi Woo-shik describes Kim Woo-joo as a man marked by a childhood without affection, which makes him solitary and reserved. Behind this façade, however, lies a sincere heart, ready to love Yoo Mary more than anyone else and to believe in destiny.

A multi-faceted drama
Although Would You Marry Me is first and foremost a romantic comedy, the actor insists on the richness of its tone: "It's not just a romance. There are also slice-of-life elements, a bit of mystery and even a touch of con."
With such a combination of genres and the promise of dazzling chemistry between its protagonists, the drama promises to be one of the most eagerly awaited romantic comedies of the autumn.
