The plot follows Kim Woo-joo (Choi Woo-shik), heir to Korea's oldest bakery, Myungsoondang. But Woo Joo is not alone in bearing the burden of this legacy. Behind him stands a motley family, as influential as they are explosive, whose personal ambitions threaten to upend the future of the family empire.
A family of legacies, rivalries and humor
At the top Go Pil-nyeon (Jung Ae-ri), grandmother and charismatic president of Myungsoondang, the true founder of the empire, who recalls her grandson to make him her successor. By her side, Jang Han-goo (Kim Young-min), uncle by marriage, a respectable but mysterious manager whose smooth demeanor may be hiding secrets.

That son, Jang Eung-soo (Go Geon-han), Woo Joo's rival cousin, collects failures but harbors a fierce jealousy. Their bickering, competitive relationship promises as much laughter as drama.

With this mix of indentured romance, struggles of inheritance and family comedy, Would You Marry Me promises to be a sparkling series full of twists and turns. See you on October 10 at 9:50pm (KST) to discover this new adventure on SBS.
