SBS unveils a new teaser for its highly anticipated romantic drama Would You Marry Mea modern comedy where fake marriage, explosive tension and unexpected romance come together. Carried by Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min, this drama promises sparks... and much more.

Marriage with conditions and clashes guaranteed
The story begins on an unconventional footing: in order to obtain luxury accommodation reserved for newlyweds, Kim Woo-joo and Yoo Mary enter into a 90-day sham marriage. Everything pits them against each other. He, the heir to the oldest bakery in Korea, is a icy perfectionist who avoids people as much as he can. She's a resourceful entrepreneur running a micro-business, lives day by day between sentimental disillusionment and forced optimism.
The teaser sets the tone from the outset: Kim Woo-joo, cold, distant, almost brittle, relishes solitude. When Mary tries to get closer, he curtly rebuffs her, even daring to tell her that his breath smells of alcohol at every word. For her part, Mary, bubbly and full of energy, goes from one emotion to another. She goes from anger to sadness, before regaining the upper hand with a smile that's as sincere as it is combative. Her character, resolutely endearing, adds a touch of freshness to this seemingly impossible relationship.
From fake couple to real attraction
But beneath the jabs and misunderstandings, something changes. The teaser hints at an unexpected turn: glances soften, gestures become less defensive... and the two characters, once at open war, seem on the verge of embracing. A change of tone captured by a resonant phrase: "Destiny is always closer than we think."
With a top-notch cast, palpable chemistry and a plot that's both funny and touching, Would You Marry Me promises to be a must-see romantic comedy this fall. See you on October 10 at 9:50pm (KST) (awaiting an international distributor, although Disney+ is beginning to be announced) to find out if love can be born of a loveless marriage... or almost.
