An ambitious new drama is about to join the school romance scene. On December 4, " Will You Be My Manager? "has unveiled its first poster and teaser, introducing its 6 main characters in a sparkling atmosphere reminiscent of the genre's heyday. This mid-form series, conceived as the 2025 version of Boys Over Flowerspromises an adventure full of energy, charming rivalries and adolescent emotions.
The story follows Hirose Hanaa Japanese exchange student in Korea, played by Nonomura Kanon. Smiling, bright but shrouded in mystery, she joins the highly selective arts management department at Segi Arts high school. Before long, she finds herself at the center of a quartet of students from the drama department... 4 budding young actors, each already accustomed to attracting all eyes.
A heroine among four charming talents
These boys include up-and-coming young Korean and Japanese actors. Ahn Jun-wonmember of the multi-entertainer group ASTEON, plays Goo Eun-ho, a coolly charismatic student star and former child actor who appeared in a film that sold over ten million tickets. Always top of his class, he represents the unattainable genius par excellence.
His best friend Cheon Si-woo, with a radically opposite temperament, is played by Yoon Do-jin (seen in Love Tractor). Gentle, warm and more down-to-earth, he brings a calming energy to Eun-ho's icy character.
Then there are Yang Jun-beomplaying Kim Ba-reun, Hirose Hana's caring cousin, a real "puppy boy" full of sweetness, and Nam Min-su (also a member of ASTEON), a spontaneous, dreamy and unpredictable free electron who goes from nonchalance to unbridled enthusiasm in the blink of an eye.
With a team that masters acting, singing and dancing in equal measure, Will You Be My Manager? aims to appeal to an international audience with a modern, energetic and resolutely engaging romance.
A fresh romance, a short format and a cast that wants to conquer the world
The unveiled poster shows the four boys surrounding Hirose Hana, each seemingly addressing her with the same mysterious question: "Will you be our manager?" For a heroine hiding a secret, these unexpected proposals mark the start of an adventure full of sparks.
The drama counts six 25-minute episodes and will be broadcast from December 12also available on Viki. A short format, ideal for a quick but emotionally rich viewing.
