tvN's next drama, « Siren's Kiss« continues to reveal its key characters. This time, new images reveal Wi Ha-joon as Cha Woo-seok, an insurance fraud investigator, confronted with a case where reason and sentiment can become dangerously intertwined.
In this romance thriller, Cha Woo-seok investigates a series of suspicious deaths linked to insurance contracts... with a disturbing common thread: all the victims had fallen in love with the same woman, Han Seol-ah, played by Park Min-young.
Cha Woo-seok, an elite investigator obsessed with the truth
Cha Woo-seok is one of the best detectives in his unit. Fearlessly efficient, he has forged a solid reputation by relentlessly tracking down those who seek to enrich themselves at the expense of human lives. Known for his obstinacy and keen sense of observation, he has had one of the highest arrest rates in his department for several years.
However, an anonymous tip-off is about to turn his daily life upside down: Han Seol-ah, the charismatic auctioneer who runs Royal Auction, is allegedly involved in insurance fraud. As the investigator gets closer to this elegant and enigmatic woman, his certainties gradually begin to waver. Behind his usual composure, doubt begins to creep in.
When investigation becomes personal
The images unveiled show a solitary man, often working alone in the field, focused on the smallest detail. Cha Woo-seok's personal file also reveals a darker past: once assigned to the crime squad, he was dismissed from this position, an element that adds a shadow to his character.
