The upcoming drama «Undercover Ms. Hong» continues to reveal itself, this time highlighting the character played by Ko Kyung-pyo. In this office comedy set in the late 1990s, appearances, numbers, and hidden intentions take center stage, and Ko Kyung-pyo seems to slip into them with formidable precision.

A CEO who believes only in numbers and nothing else
Ko Kyung-pyo lends his features to Shin Jung-woo, a cold-hearted management consultant who was recently appointed CEO of Hanmin Securities. For him, only one thing never lies: the numbers.
Behind this apparent rigor, however, lie dark ambitions. Jung-woo is a “corporate hunter,” an executive who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.
But his perfectly organized world is turned upside down when he runs into Hong Geum-bo (Park Shin-hye), the woman he loved 15 years earlier, without knowing that she is now on an undercover mission, posing as a 20-year-old rookie.

The new stills show Jung-woo in all his rigidity: impeccable suit, stiff posture, frozen expression. Nothing in his appearance or attitude betrays the slightest warmth.
A portrait of a meticulous, perfectionist... and potentially dangerous man.
A tense dynamic with Hong Geum-bo
While Geum-bo tries to accomplish her mission without being exposed, she finds herself face to face with a man she knows intimately—but for whom she must now play a role.
The drama thus promises a rising tension, oscillating between mistrust, emotion, and unspoken words, carried by the eagerly anticipated chemistry between Park Shin-hye and Ko Kyung-pyo.

The latter, accustomed to thriller, action, and romance roles, has raised high expectations in this complex role combining extreme coldness, hidden ambitions, and old wounds.
Undercover Ms. Hong will make its debut on January 17, 2026 on Netflix.
