JTBC has unveiled a poignant first presentation of Surely Tomorrowa new romantic drama starring Park Seo-joon and Won Ji-an. The series, which will begin on December 6 its broadcast, explores the scars of a couple who have never been able to put a clear end to their break-up, a relationship where love persists as much as it destroys.

The unveiled teaser alternates between their luminous beginnings and their icy encounter after separation. Two people once inseparable, now haunted by what their history has left behind.

A love too strong to heal

Park Seo-joon plays Lee Gyeong-do, a man desperate to become insensitive to his past. Yet his confession betrays it all: "When I see you, I just wish it were banal... to say 'that was nice' to you on my way home." A sentence that reveals just how much Seo Ji Woo still lives deep inside.

For her part, Won Ji-an plays Seo Ji-woo, a woman who has loved without limits but no longer has the strength to stay. Her voice trembles as she blurts out, "I love you so much, but I can't stay with him." Between pain, regret and tenderness, their emotions intertwine to the point of suffocating each of them.

Between separation, obsession and impossible reconciliation

The series shows Gyeong-Do at a total loss after Ji Woo's unexpected return. "If you were going to leave again, you should never have come back," he tells her in a mixture of resentment and unquenched love.

The drama promises a steady rise in intensity, where every encounter, argument and memory brings the two former lovers to a breaking point. Can their relationship ever become "commonplace" as Gyeong Do hopes, or will they remain prisoners of a love too deep to subside?

Surely Tomorrow will be broadcast on Saturday, December 6 at 10:40 p.m. on JTBC.
