Ten years after their last collaboration in the film Wonderful Nightmare, Uhm Jung-hwa and Song Seung-heon are back together in a rom-com that promises to be as crazy as it is moving. Entitled My Troublesome Star (금쪽같은 내 스타formerly known as My Golden Star), the series will be broadcast from August 18 at 10pm (KST) on ENA and recently unveiled a 2nd colorful trailer.

A star propelled... 25 years later
The story follows Bong Cheong-jaA former superstar of the 2000s, played by Uhm Jung-hwa, who suddenly wakes up 25 years in the future. Now a woman in her fifties with a long absence from the media, she's trying as best she can to revive her career in a world that no longer expects her.
To help her (or at least investigate her), detective Dokgo Chul (Song Seung-heon) is sent undercover. He poses as her manager, while trying to find out if this mysterious fifty-something is really... the former Im Se Ra, a young star who had disappeared and everyone thought she'd been forgotten.
Between absurd humor and sincere emotion
The teaser begins with a meeting between radiant young Im Se-ra (played by Jang Da-ah) and a young detective (Lee Min-jae). But the plot quickly changes: Im Se-ra suddenly transforms into Bong Cheong-ja, provoking a comical and emotional shock. Dokgo Chul is stunned and embarked on a mission far more complex than expected.
This blend of time travel, identity quest and gentle satire of the entertainment world promises a successful cocktail of laughter, tenderness and touching moments.
A cult duo, a crack team
Fans of Good Casting will be delighted to welcome back the creative team behind this hit, back here with polished visual direction and accessible writing. The return to the screen of Uhm Jung-hwa and Song Seung-heon as a romantic duo is already generating a lot of anticipation: their complicity seems intact, and the contrast between their characters adds to the comic dynamic of the story.
