Towards a Season 2 for Shin's Project? Discussions are underway

Shin's projectThe tvN drama, which ended its run on October 28, could well return for a new season. On October 29, a production representative confirmed that "discussions for a season 2 are currently underway".

Growing success for an unexpected series

Broadcast on tvN, the series follows Shin Sa-jang (Han Seok-Gyu), a former crisis negotiation advisor for Interpol, now employed in a chicken restaurant. His life is turned upside down when a Seoul court judge, Kim Sang-geun (Kim Sang-ho), entrusts him with various mediation missions, revealing a universe blending suspense, humanity and humor.

Launched with an audience rating of 5.9 % according to Nielsen Korea, the series has grown steadily through word-of-mouth, peaking at 9,1 % in episode 11.

An open ending full of promise

The latest episode saw the creation of a new team, the Shin Manager Project TF TeamThe first sequel to the series was released in September, starring Kim Sang-geun, joined by Jo Philip (Bae Hyun-sung) and Kim Soo-dong (Jung Eun-pyo). The surprise appearance of Kim Dong-jun in the role of a young judge also strengthened speculation about a sequel.
