With To the MoonMBC is set to launch a bittersweet series about the trials and tribulations of everyday life, the dreams of fortune... and the temptations of the crypto world. Scheduled for September 19this new drama features 3 middle-class womenall caught up in a race to make ends meet, desperate to find a way out.
They include Jo Aram in a role that promises to be a landmark in her career. She plays Kim Ji-songis a contract employee in the accounting department of a confectionery company. It's hard for her to make ends meet, but that doesn't stop her from living according to a philosophy well known to Generation Z : YOLO (You Only Live Once). Compulsive shopping, dating and everyday pleasures punctuate her life... and drain her bank account.

When 2 of his colleagues, Jung Da-hae (performed by Lee Sun-bin) and Kang Eun-sang (Ra Mi-ran), embark on cryptocurrency investing in an attempt to change their destiny, Ji Song finds himself faced with a dilemma: continue to live in the moment, or risk big to perhaps get out of it.
The first images unveiled by the production team capture the full range of this colorful character. We see Ji Song at times emotional in a jewelry store, at times hilarious in secret at the office, or even crestfallen when a shoe heel breaks (a scene both funny and revealing of his attachment to appearances).

The production is full of praise for Jo Aram: "She literally fused with her character. Her freshness, energy and naturalness on the set lit up every scene, especially alongside Ra Mi Ran and Lee Sun Bin, with whom the chemistry is palpable."
With To the Moon, MBC seems determined to mix levity, social reality and generational insight. A series to keep an eye on for anyone interested in the stories of today... and tomorrow.
