The drama “The Scarecrow" continues to unveil its universe with a new teaser and poster, featuring a tense and unexpected relationship between its two main characters.

Supported by Park Hae-soo and Lee Hee-joon, This thriller follows the investigation of a series of murders spread over more than 30 years, between 1988 and 2019.

A forced alliance between past and present

Park Hae-soo stars as Kang Tae-joo, a detective renowned for his instinct and powers of observation. After being demoted, he returns to his hometown, where he finds himself in charge of a serial murder case.

On this investigation, he crosses paths with Cha Si-young, played by Lee Hee-joon, an influential and ambitious prosecutor. But their collaboration is far from simple: the 2 men share a painful past, Cha Si-young having been Kang Tae-joo's stalker during their school years.

The teaser immediately sets the tone with the detective's determination, declaring: «I'll catch you!» as the shadow of a serial killer looms over the investigation.

A constant tension between hatred and cooperation

Meeting face to face after 30 years, their relationship oscillates between confrontation and the need to work together. When they meet again, Cha Si-young says with an unsettling smile: «I've missed you», a gesture that immediately brings back memories of the past for Kang Tae-joo.

The poster underlines this conflicting dynamic, describing their duo as a veritable «alliance of hatred». On one side, a detective obsessed with catching the culprit; on the other, a prosecutor ready to use the case to further his political ambitions.
