The new poster of " I DOL I "highlights an improbable encounter: the rigor of a renowned lawyer versus the aura of a beloved idol. Kim Jae-yeong and Choi Soo-young embody two paths that had no reason to cross... until tragedy brought them together for good.
Two worlds, one breaking point
On the left, Maeng Se-na. Reputable, inflexible, shoulders loaded with cases and responsibilities. The icy landscape around him reflects the self-denial and toughness required to become a "star of the bar". On the right, Do Ra-ik. Spotlight, devastating smile, artificial light: the archetypal perfect idol.

Everything seems to oppose them: status, background, everyday life. Except for one thing: music as an invisible thread. For in the shadow of her strict tailoring, Se-na hides a secret that turns the scene upside down.
A fan confronts her idol... accused of murder
The poster's caption announces the collision: "My killer smile bias becomes a murder suspect."
This "inadmissible link" turns Se-na's career, and her whole inner world, upside down. Nicknamed "the lawyer of lost causes", she now accepts the most dangerous of missions: to prove the innocence of the man she admires.
Sooyoung explains the heart of the story: "Even without a direct link, a relationship based on strong trust can exist, perhaps only between a star and a fan. Se-na is someone who loves and observes Ra-ik every day. It's this certainty that allows her to believe in and understand him. I hope you'll look forward to this deep relationship."
For his part, Kim Jae-yeong emphasizes the series' hybrid DNA: "The mix of genres is what makes us unique. The combination of mystery, court and romance is fascinating. Viewers will experience layered emotions, suspense and even romantic thrills."
Between admiration and doubt, law and passion, I DOL I promises an intimate duel in which you'll have to choose what to believe... and who to love.
First broadcast on December 22 on Netflix (and ENA in South Korea).
