Netflix continues to unveil its next drama « The Art of Sarah »with new images focusing on its characters. Carried by Shin Hae-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk, The series promises to be an elegant psychological drama where illusion, ambition and truth intertwine.
Sarah Kim, a thousand faces and one hidden truth
At the heart of the story is Sarah Kim, a woman willing to do anything to establish herself as a luxury icon, even if it means constructing an image that is not entirely based on reality. The new photos reveal a multi-faceted character: at times confident and charismatic as the head of an Asian branch of a major luxury house, at other times fragile and solitary, writing alone with tears in her eyes.
These striking contrasts reinforce the mystery surrounding Sarah Kim. Who is she really? Behind her controlled appearances, her thoughts and identity seem carefully concealed, fuelling curiosity about her past and her true motivations.
An investigation that links intertwined destinies
Opposite her stands Mu Gyeong, played by Lee Jun-hyuk, a man determined to get to the bottom of Sarah Kim's ambitions. Images show him inspecting a manhole with a grave gaze, as if the truth literally lurked beneath the surface. Other shots show him at an official briefing or surrounded by journalists, reflecting his confusion and the growing pressure on him as he approaches the truth.
Around this duo gravitate several key characters: Jung Yeo-jin (Park Bo-kyung), Sarah's close friend; Woo Hyo-eun (Jung Da-bin), former Boudoir employee; Choi Chae-woo (Bae Jong-ok), a powerful department store president, accompanied by her secretary Kang Ji-hwon (Kim Jae-won). Hong Sung-shin (Jung Jin-young), CEO of a lending company.
Each of them seems to be connected, in one way or another, to Sarah Kim. But one question remains: has anyone among them ever caught a glimpse of the real Sarah, beyond the carefully crafted mask she presents to the world?
The series will be available in its entirety on Netflix on February 13.
