Netflix intensifies the mystery surrounding its next drama « The Art of Sarah »with new posters and an intriguing teaser. At the heart of the story is a woman whose identity seems entirely fabricated... and a man determined to discover who she really is.

Starring Shin Hae-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk, The Art of Sarah promises a dangerous interplay between lies, obsession and truth, in the hushed (and deceptive) world of luxury.

Sarah Kim, an icon shaped by lies

Shin Hae-sun plays Sarah Kim, a woman willing to do anything to become a leading figure in the luxury goods industry, even if it means inventing her own existence. Her visuals superimpose blurred identity cards, business cards and personal objects, like fragments of a life impossible to assemble.

On one of the posters, his face is partially concealed, accompanied by the phrase: «When everything seems real, is it still a lie?» A central question that perfectly sums up the character's ambiguity. In the teaser, Sarah Kim herself confides, in a somber voice: «The lie is like a beautiful sunset. It sublimates everything... until you get caught.» A confession that hints at an inevitable downfall behind the apparent perfection.

Mu Gyeong, the man who refuses to believe in illusions

Opposite her, Lee Jun-hyuk plays Mu Gyeong, a man obsessed with the truth. His poster, dominated by a tense gaze and investigative elements (blackboard, handcuffs, traces of interrogation), announces a relentless hunt. The accompanying phrase, «Who's really standing in front of me?», underlines his growing confusion as the boundary between reality and invention collapses.

In the teaser, testimonies contradict each other, versions diverge, and one question becomes increasingly pressing: Does Sarah Kim even exist? The closer Mu Gyeong gets to her, the more her identity seems to dissolve, transforming the investigation into a psychological vertigo.

Between obsessive pursuit and carefully constructed pretences, The Art of Sarah promises to be an elegant thriller, where every truth could be just another illusion.

The Art of Sarah will be broadcast on February 13, 2026 on Netflix.
