The most charismatic vigilante on the small screen is back at the wheel of his cab. SBS has officially announced the broadcast date of Taxi Driver 3which premieres on November 21. To accompany the news, the channel revealed teaser posters marking the long-awaited return of the cult series.
Based on the webtoon by Carlos and Keukeu Jae-jin, Taxi Driver follows the missions of the mysterious Rainbow Taxi company, a secret organization that avenges victims abandoned by the law. This third opus promises to be even darker and harder-hitting, with a new car, the legendary "5283", and a promise: to hit the road again for a new series of spectacular revenges.
Lee Je-hoon returns to his iconic role of Kim Do-gi, a driver both formidable and deeply human, supported by the entire original team: Pyo Ye-jin, Kim Eui-sung, Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yoo-ram. New faces also include Takenaka Naoto, Edan Lui and Yoon Shi-yoon, confirming a cast as solid as it is diverse.
The script is once again by Oh Sang-ho, already behind the first two seasons and also known for The Roundup: No Way Out and Fabricated City. This time, he will collaborate with director Kang Bo-seung, recently acclaimed for Dr. Romantic 3.
