The Disney+ series « Bloody Flower »continues to reveal the depth of its characters with new images focusing on Sung Dong-il. He plays Park Han-joon, a lawyer faced with an extreme moral dilemma: defending a serial killer to save his own daughter's life.
In Bloody Flower, The existence of Lee Woo-gyeom (Ryeoun), a murderer responsible for many deaths but capable of curing all incurable diseases, upsets the very foundations of justice. Park Han-joon finds himself trapped in this contradiction, forced to put his legal skills at the service of a man whom society as a whole condemns.
Between legal reason and paternal love
The new photos reveal a character consumed by a permanent inner conflict. With sunken eyes and tight lips, Park Han-joon moves forward with an icy restraint that betrays both the rigor of a lawyer and the distress of a father. In one striking scene, he crosses a hostile crowd behind a police roadblock, amid shouts and accusatory placards. Without lowering his eyes, he continues on his way, accepting to be publicly judged for having made a choice that few would understand.

This visual contrast sums up his entire situation: a legal professional, but also a man ready to do anything to protect his child.
