tvN is set to launch a romantic comedy full of sweetness and sparkle with " Spring Fever" . The series features Lee Joo-bin in the role of Yoon Bom, a high school teacher known for her aloof attitude, and Ahn Bo-hyun as Seon Jae-gyu, a passionate man who's not afraid to express his feelings... even if it means upsetting the life of the woman he loves.
The first images unveiled set the tone: a romance in which a straightforward man tackles the emotional walls of a woman who won't let anyone in.
A man who goes for it, a woman who protects herself
In the new stills, Seon Jae-gyu comes across as a confident, frank, warm, almost fearless character. His gestures and gaze show that he never hesitates to say what he feels, nor to approach Yoon Bom despite his icy demeanor.
Facing him, Yoon Bom stands erect, reserved, bristling with defenses. Every attempt by Jae-gyu raises a spark, but also a reaction of flight, as if she feared that any breach in her armor would leave her vulnerable.
This "frozen heart versus irresistible heat" dynamic promises a progressive, touching romance, full of heartfelt moments where each will have to learn to open up to the other.
An already promising duo
Between Ahn Bo-hyun's sparkling determination and Lee Joo-bin's cool but fragile subtlety, the chemistry seems to flow naturally. Fans of rom-coms can look forward to a luminous story, carried by two performers whose glances are enough to raise the tension.
Spring Fever will be broadcast for the first time on January 5, 2026 at 8:50 pm (KST) on tvN and Prime Video.
